Everything you need to know about using PryzeLab.
Getting Started
PryzeLab analyzes your SaaS pricing page against competitors and gives you actionable recommendations to increase conversions and revenue. Here's the complete flow:
Create a New Audit
Go to New Audit in the sidebar. Enter your pricing page URL and add competitor URLs (or let our AI find them for you). Choose Standard or Premium audit type.
Wait for Analysis (~3-5 min)
Our AI scrapes all pricing pages, extracts tier structures, and runs a competitive analysis. You'll see a real-time progress bar and get an email when it's done.
Review Your Report
Your report includes a health score (0-100), competitive positioning, feature gaps, risk flags, prioritized actions, and (for Premium) 3 alternative pricing variants to test.
Get AI Recommendations (Pro+)
Go to Engine Overview → Run Pricing Analysis on your completed audit. The engine generates specific price recommendations for each tier with confidence scores.
Implement & Re-audit
Make changes to your pricing page, then hit Run Again on your report to track your score improvement over time.

Pricing Engine & Recommendations
The Pricing Engine takes your audit data and generates specific, actionable price recommendations for each of your tiers. It considers your competitors' pricing, your market position, and any pricing rules you've defined.
How to use it:
- First, complete a pricing audit (Standard or Premium)
- Go to Engine Overview → click + New Analysis
- Select a completed audit from the dropdown
- Optionally select a pricing rule to guide the AI
- Click Run Analysis — results appear in Recommendations
What you get:
- Per-tier recommendations — specific suggested prices for each of your tiers
- Confidence scores — how confident the AI is in each suggestion (more competitor data = higher confidence)
- Competitive range — min/avg/max competitor prices for context
- Rationale — why the AI suggests each change
- Revenue impact — estimated MRR/ARR change if you implement the recommendations
Pricing Rules
Pricing rules tell the AI engine HOW to generate recommendations. Without a rule, the AI uses sensible defaults. Rules are optional but powerful for refining suggestions.
Competitor-Based
Price relative to your competitors. Set a target percentile: 25th = budget position, 50th = market average, 75th = premium. Good for markets with clear competitors.
Cost + Margin
Set prices based on your costs plus a target margin percentage. Best when you know your COGS and want to ensure profitability at every tier.
Value-Based
Price anchored to the ROI your product delivers. Uses a value multiplier against estimated customer benefit. Best for products with clear, measurable outcomes.
Margin Target
Ensure a minimum gross margin across all tiers. The AI won't recommend prices below your target margin. Good as a safety constraint on top of other strategies.
Rule settings:
- Min/Max Price — Hard floor and ceiling. The AI will never go outside this range.
- Target Percentile — Where you want to sit in the market. 0 = cheapest, 50 = average, 100 = most expensive.
- Rounding — Prices are automatically rounded to charm pricing (e.g. $49, $99, $199).
Competitor Tracking
Monitor your competitors' pricing pages automatically. We re-scrape tracked competitors on a schedule (daily or weekly) and alert you by email whenever they change their pricing.
What gets tracked:
- Tier names and prices — any price change is detected
- Feature changes — new features added/removed from tiers
- New tiers — if a competitor adds or removes a tier
- Billing model changes — switching from flat to per-seat, adding annual discounts, etc.
How to set up:
- Go to Competitor Tracking in the sidebar
- Click + Add Competitor
- Enter their pricing page URL
- Choose frequency: daily or weekly
- You'll get an email whenever changes are detected
Available on Business plan. Track up to 20 competitors.

FAQ
What URLs should I enter?
Enter your direct pricing page URL (e.g., yourproduct.com/pricing). If you enter the homepage, we'll try to find the pricing page automatically. For competitors, enter their pricing page URLs or homepages.
How long does an audit take?
Standard audits take ~2-3 minutes. Premium audits take ~5-6 minutes. You'll get an email when it's done.
Why was a competitor skipped?
Some sites use heavy bot protection (Cloudflare challenges, CAPTCHAs) that prevent scraping. We try a fallback cloud browser, but some sites are still inaccessible. Try entering the direct /pricing URL instead of the homepage.
What's the difference between audit and recommendation?
An audit analyzes your current pricing page and gives you a score, findings, and action items. A recommendation goes further — it uses the audit data to generate specific price suggestions for each tier with confidence scores and revenue impact estimates.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee if our reports don't provide actionable insights. Contact hello@pryzelab.com and we'll process your refund.
Do purchased audits expire?
No. Purchased audit packs never expire. They're consumed only after your monthly subscription allowance is used up.
Can I scrape private/staging URLs?
Currently our scraper only works on publicly accessible URLs. If your pricing page is behind a login or on a private network, try deploying a temporary public version or contact us for a custom analysis.
